Data Technology Services, Inc. has developed innovative hardware and software to provide extremely detailed and accurate mapping capabilities to its clients in the minerals and the oil and gas industries.  These innovations permit the incorporation of satellite imagery, aerial photography, geophysical data, and topographic and bathymetric data to render outstanding color maps and three-dimensional perspective views of areas and features in any map projection and any specified datum or ellipsoid.  Highly detailed topographic data from Lidar scans or radar interferometry permit exceptionally accurate surface mapping so that GIS data and DEMs prepared from these data may be used directly to determine structural features and to derive engineering information on grades, areas, and volumes of the landforms represented to give better estimations in oil and gas exploration.
